You know something needs to happen to improve your life and the things you’ve tried in the past haven’t worked. Let’s take a look at what some of those things might be.

DIET: With dieting, you get the initial satisfaction from shedding water weight and maybe even a few pounds. But 99% of the time, the weight comes back and when it does, it is usually MORE than what you had before you started. Dieting isn’t a lifestyle change. It’s a temporary fix to a permanent problem which is why it isn’t the solution for you.

JOINING A GYM: ​The inability to lose weight and maintain a healthy lifestyle isn’t due to a lack of training facilities or gym memberships. Most of us have a place to workout…whether that’s your neighborhood gym or living room floor. It’s the lack of accountability and motivation that keep you from reaching success.

DIY (DOING IT YOURSELF): Trying to determine what will work best for your body in the fitness and nutrition industry is like self-medicating instead of going to the doctor when you’re sick: sometimes it works, but usually it only makes things worse. With all the different information out there on what to eat, how to eat, when to eat and which workouts are best, it’s almost impossible to know which are the right things to do FOR YOU without the expertise and guidance of a certified fitness professional.

I started Sharon’s class 11 months and 20 pounds ago. She is hands-down the best trainer. The classes are fun and Sharon also offers nutritional help. If you think 5:15a.m. is too early (there are other classes too), try it before judging! My friends and husband made a bet I wouldn’t last a week getting up that early. I love it now – my day is more productive and my energy level has increased. Also, I could barely do a sit-up when I started and it’s been motivating to see my strength increase. I joined FitBodies by Sharon in November of 2014. I initially lost a few pounds and started becoming more fit and toned and had more strength…but I didn’t ever change my diet. When summer was coming to a close in 2015 I decided I would join her Transformation Challenge. Her challenge changed me…from the inside out. She was organized…all I had to do was DO it! I lost six pounds that first week and kept at it because I started feeling really really good. The third week check in I had lost seven inches. I am not making this up. I felt amazing, happy and not tired, grouchy or sluggish. Also, the food was so yummy! At the end of the challenge I had lost 15 pounds. When I started the little black dress challenge, the 1st part of October, I had let myself get way out of control. I was depressed and getting worse due to the way I looked. I started Sharon’s boot camp as a way to jump start the workout I was already doing at a local gym. Little did I know how much more I would get! I participated in the Belly Blast the first 3 weeks of boot camp and I lost 18 pounds and have kept it off almost 2 years later!
