What are your personal and fitness goals?
My personal goals include trusting the Lord with all my heart and leaning on HIM in all circumstances. Being the best wife, mom, daughter, sister, friend I can be while encouraging others with the truth from the Lord. My fitness goals include staying in shape (working out, eating healthy) so that I have energy and stay well to help achieve my personal goals. “
What one thing keeps you most focused and motivated to continue to work out?
Wanting to stay healthy for the Lord and my family. I want to stay healthy and in shape so that I am able to serve HIM and others. Sharon is so encouraging and always keeps me motivated during workouts, which I LOVE!”
Can you tell me a little bit about yourself and how you started working out with fit bodies?
I grew up super active playing different sports until college. I was in great shape, but having 4 kids took a toll on my body. I would work out at home and run on the treadmill, but never felt comfortable in a gym or in a workout class environment. Thankfully, my friend Megan spoke so highly of Sharon and her classes, so I decided to give it a try and have never looked back!”
How has fit bodies made a difference in your life?
FitBodies has made a huge difference in my life. It truly has been life changing for me. I couldn’t figure out the best time to workout in my busy life with 4 kids so I would always put working out on the back burner. In the past, I thought waking up early to workout was CRAZY and I could never do it, but I LOVE it now! For me, early morning workouts are the best before my busy day begins. My body functions best in the cycle of going to bed early and waking up early. Until I started FitBodies, I wasn’t in this cycle.”
What kind of milestones have you accomplished and what specific result have you achieve so far?
My hope was to get in shape and feel stronger, lose weight and gain energy and I have accomplished all of these things, along with learning to eat healthy and gain amazing relationships with other women.”
What is your word of the year?
INTENTIONAL-I am striving to be intentional in all I do, not only working out and staying healthy, but in EVERYTHING.”
What made you decide to join FitBodies by Sharon?
I have been involved with FitBodies for almost 3 years. My friend Megan who looks incredible and is super in shape, convinced me to step out of my comfort zone and come to the workout class. My friend Meredith had completed an eating challenge and looked amazing, so she convinced me to try it. Thank goodness for friends!! Thank you Megan and Meredith-I will forever be grateful!”
What kinds of results have you achieved so far?
I feel the best I have felt in years! I am stronger, have lost weight and have learned healthy eating habits. Also, I never dreamed that I would make friends while working out, so I feel super thankful to be making wonderful friends along the way!”
What would you say to someone on the fence about making a change and committing to their goals?
Absolutely start NOW and step out of your comfort zone. Of course try FitBodies by Sharon as she is AMAZING-such an encouraging and inspirational coach!! Working out in a class was WAY out of my comfort zone, yet it has been one of the best life changes I have made. Thankful for the Lord, family and friends who push me to take risks and support me along the way!”
